Thumbs up for 15th run of Shunde Expo

Nearly 700 household appliance makers and over 30,000 visitors gathered at the 15th China International Exposition for Household Electrical Appliances (Shunde Expo), which drew to a successful close on August 22. The three-day event took up 50,000 square meters of the Shunde Exhibition Center. Through a comprehensive showcase of the latest products and smart technology solutions, Shunde Expo 2015 brought to visitors a “one-stop” trading platform and updated industry trends.

To better meet with market demands, the event this year underwent various changes to feature seven themed exhibition halls: Selections zone, Comprehensive zone, Kitchen Appliances zone, Audio & Video zone, Health Appliances zone, Home Living Appliances zone and Accessories & Components zone.

While a host of renowned participating brands including Midea, Macro, Vanward, Weili, Konka, Ronsheng, Canbo and Whirlpool led the pack at Shunde Expo 2015 with their high product quality and strong brand image, another group of exhibitors, such as Weber, Kewang, CBao, Citin, Ease, Weiya, Beke, Eupa, Golux and ALLEN won over the crowds with their unique brand personality.

“Over the last three days, Shunde Expo has once again become the focal point of the home appliance industry in China. I am pleased to see that one after another outstanding domestic household electrical appliance enterprises have gone international through the Shunde Expo platform, and have occupied a pivotal position in the midst of the competition. Shunde Expo will continue to inject momentum to China’s home appliance enterprises," said the vice president of Koelnmesse for the Asia-Pacific region, Michael Dreyer.

Satisfied exhibitor, Zhang Hedi, Marketing Manager of Donlim, said: “We have been participating in Shunde Expo for more than a decade. Overall, the event this year has been rather good, with a lot more participating brands than in previous years. The quality of exhibitors has also significantly improved judging by the presence of many well-known brands.”

“Our exhibits are mainly kitchen and small appliances. Shunde Expo is like a large gathering of the industry, with the main role of helping brands expand their distribution channel, as dealers from all over will be here to look for new products, new brands, and business opportunities,” said Xu Weiguo, CEO of another Guangdong appliance maker, Ronsheng.

Zhang Hongmin, spokesperson for German Kärcher echoed: “This is our first year at Shunde Expo. Our aim is to find more dealers. Compared with the Appliance & Electronics World Expo in Shanghai, we prefer Shunde Expo for its ‘closeness to the ground’ as there are more channel distributors here. We’ve gotten great results this year, and have already concluded several deals on the first day. We will continue to exhibit next year.”

The next edition of the event will take place in August 2016. To learn more about Shunde Expo, visit: www.shundeexpo.com
